If you’re considering buying a Volkswagen, you’ll find there are plenty of great options to choose from with a number of exciting updates. Below, we detail what you can expect from the 2017 Volkswagen lineup.
Beetle and Beetle Convertible
Expect a limited-edition #PINK Beetle available in both coupe and convertible form. The Dune convertible also joins the 2017 lineup. Every Beetle in the 2017 lineup also benefits from more aggressive front and rear bumper styling.
For 2017, the Golf SportWagen is getting 4Motion, while the all-new Golf Alltrack receives 4Motion and more ground clearance.
The new Sport and Wolfsburg models will join the lineup for 2017. There will be a standard leather package on the Sport trim. Every Tiguan will also receive 200-horsepower turbocharged 2-liter TSI engine that will come as standard. Bi-Xenon headlights featuring bright white LED daytime running lights will also be available on the Tiguan.
For 2017, the Jetta lineup will be simplified to include just the S, SE, SEL, and GLI models. Across the entire range, a rearview camera will now be standard. Lower trim lines benefit from the addition of new driver assistance features.
Front Assist is now standard across all trims for the 2017 Passat. Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert will now be standard on the R-Line and the SE trims. The Passat will also now include the addition of new V6 SE with technology model. There have also been dramatic improvements in standard equipment for the SE with technology and R-Line trims.
The 2.0T R-Line Executive is benefitting from the addition of Lane Assist and Front Assist.
The new Wolfsburg Edition is replacing the Lux model. Standard Drive Assistance and safety features include Front Assist, Side Assist, and Lane Assist.
