Champagne Cake Balls
Cake: 1 box of strawberry cake mix, 1/3 cup of vegetable oil, 1 1/4 cups of champagne, 3 eggs, and one 16 ounce container of white cake frosting.
Icing Shell: 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 24 ounce white chocolate melting wafers or white chocolate chips, and sprinkles.
Step 1: Preheat your oven to the recommended temperature (based off of what’s stated on the cake box). Then, take a 9×3-inch baking pan and spray it with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
Step 2: Take a large bowl or an electric mixer and beat the cake mix, oil, champagne, and egg at medium speed until the mixture is smooth. Then, pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan.
Step 3: Bake the cake according to the cake package directions. Afterward, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool. Once the cake has cooled, cut it into squares.
Step 4: Next, crumble the cake squares into a large bowl (or mixer). Add the frosting and combine evenly.
Step 5: Cover the mixture. Then, place the bowl into the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours. (Allowing the mixture to settle overnight works well).
Step 6: Take a baking tray and line it with wax paper. After the tray is lined, take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll a small cake ball with your hands. Continue with this until you have rolled all of the cake into individual balls, placing them each onto the wax paper with a little space in between them.
Step 7: Once the cake balls are complete, place the tray into the refrigerator for another 1 or 2 hours.
Step 8: Pour the white chocolate into a microwave-safe bowl. Melt it on 30-second intervals. (Be sure to stir the chocolate in between intervals so that it is smooth). Once the chocolate is fully melted, stir in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Step 9: Remove the cake balls from the refrigerator and drop them into the melted chocolate one at a time. Then, using a fork, scoop them out and place them each back onto the wax paper. Decorate the cake balls with sprinkles.
Step 10: Allow the cake balls to completely harden. Then, enjoy!

Cake: 1 box of white cake mix, 1 package of strawberry gelatin (about 3 ounces), 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 cup of canola oil, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of strawberries (finely chopped), and 2 eggs
Frosting: 1/2 cup of crushed strawberries, 1/2 cup of butter (softened), 4.5 cups of confectioners’ sugar
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then, grease two 8-inch round baking pans and line the bottom of each pan with parchment paper. Finally, grease the paper and you’re ready to begin!
Step 2: Take a large bowl and combine the cake mix, sugar, flour, and gelatin. Afterward, add in water, eggs, and oil.
Step 3: Beat the mixture on low speed for about 30 seconds. Then, beat on medium for about 2 minutes. Next, fold in the chopped strawberries and transfer the mixture to the prepared pans.
Step 4: Place the cakes into the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes. (You’ll know the cake is ready when a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean).
Step 5: Allow the cakes to cool for about 10 minutes before removing them from the pans. Then, remove the paper and let the cakes cool completely.
Prepare the frosting
Step 1: Take a small bowl and beat the butter until it’s creamy. Afterward, beat in the crushed strawberries and gradually beat in the confectioners’ sugar.
Step 2: Spread frosting over the top of one cake. Then, place the other cake on top and cover them both with frosting.
