The 1.8T takes its name from the engine that powers it: a 1.8-liter engine that delivers 180 horsepower and achieves 25 mpg city and 34 mpg highway*. It comes in three trims, the S, SE, and SEL. The heated front bucket seats are height adjustable with leatherette upholstery. They also have a manually adjustable lumbar support on both sides. The rear seat is a split-folding seat. Cruise control, power windows, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and air conditioning are standard across all trims. The S trim has automatic headlights, a USB port, and a composition color touchscreen. The SE adds a rearview camera system and interior ambient lighting that you can customize. The SEL trim features a panoramic sunroof, Discover Media touchscreen navigation, keyless access, and push-button start.
Beetle 1.8T Dune

The R-Line 2.0T has three trims from which to choose. The SE and SEL trims are available only by special order. The 2-liter engine outputs 210 horsepower. You’ll see 23 mpg city/31 mpg highway* from this turbocharged engine. The SE trim features R-Line front and rear bumpers, a composition media touchscreen sound system, and a rearview camera. The SEL trim adds bi-xenon headlights, a panoramic sunroof, and the Discover Media navigation.
